In social media, I usually use Gameboy612 as my nickname, this is why in some of the following threads, you may see the author of the project as Gameboy612.
Devas is a Minecraft RPG Datapack developed by me, and a couple of my friends, forming a team of 5 members. I am responsible for the programming, and about 20-30% of the 3D modelling, while the others vary from texture artists, to bug tracking.
We have started developing Devas since 2019, and there had been one redo of the entire game, due to optimization. We have reworked the whole system of Devas starting from the first line of code in May 2021, and have become a fully expandable sandbox RPG in the current day.
Devas is currently still in its development stage, and is expected to come out with a beta release in 2023.
Gamma is developed by Kapakki since September of 2022, as a program to attempt to improve computer accessability.
Tough as Nails Remake is a clone of the Tough as Nails mod, with the aim of improving my programming skills. The project received a lot of feedback from curseforge, reaching over 2400 downloads. Unfortunately, we have since terminated the project due to copyright reasons and the cost of time to optimize and maintain it, as it was made very early in my programming career.
In the work of creating Devas, I have made a custom particle system in Minecraft, which ityou can change the particle's velocity, despawn time, textures, or even animate them.
This project required a large amount of mathematical computation, such as Rotation Matrices, Cross Products, Linear Transformations, etc.
I have also created a datapack library for Java Edition of Minecraft, which allows players to add custom 3D modelled blocks to Minecraft. Currently, custom blocks in Minecraft are not an easy thing to create, but with the help of this datapack, every step is simplified, and the pack is overall relatively optimized. This makes programming simpler for newcomers.
Revision Helper is a chattriggers module developed by Kapakki. It aims to help students study while playing games, maintaining a balance of learning and gaming.
The module works by asking a question every 1 minute, and if the student answers incorrectly, the module will terminate the game for him.
KYC Challenges is a bot currently under development.
The bot will give a list of challenges every week, which is related to academics. After each week, the challenges will refresh, and students would gain points for how much challenges they have completed.
